The Surf Lords headline the Freaky Tiki Party Sunday
The Surf Lords will be a new addition to Rockin Route 66’s Freaky Tiki party. The Freaky Tiki is held at the RoadRunner Lodge, Sunday, June 28th.
Subsequently, the Freaky Tiki will kick off Sunday at 1PM and go till the crew of Rockin’ Route 66 calls it quits. It’s where we all kick back and chill for the afternoon in the amazing little ‘ghost town’ called, Tucumcari.

Above all, the Surf Lords are a kool instrumental surf music from the high deserts of New Mexico. The band is comprised of: Tom Chism on guitar and vocals, Tracey Lipka on bass guitar, Polo Garcia Colon on drums.
Most importantly, the Freaky Tiki will be held in the newly remodeled green space at the Roadrunner Lodge. Owner, David Brenner, has created a desert oasis for Rockin’ Route 66 for all to enjoy.

Secondly, the Freaky Tiki has long been the after-party tradition of the producer, Brian “Big Boy” Whitcomb, and the crew of Grease Inc. and Garage71 for decades.
“This is where the crew can chill out. Enjoy a well deserved Bloody Mary. Spend time with sponsors, vendors, and entertainment before we all hit Route 66 to both ends of the U. S.”
Brian “Big Boy” Whitcomb
